Pokeballs. Have you ever been inside one of those things?! They shrink ya down, and if it's a cheap regular one you get absolutely nothing to keep you entertained while you're in there. I never want to be inside one ever again!

Wow... I finally made it! And in one piece! Hee ♥
There's so much to do... so much to see. I don't have a home yet, but I'm staying in a hostel downtown. Hopefully I can find myself a comfy little loft! But first thing's first... I need to find a job! And learn how to become a human. I wonder if Articono is here?

Occupation (if applicable): Wannabe Actress
Personality: Her head is in the clouds almost all the time. Life is just one big play for her, waiting to unfold scene by scene. She's very naive and believes that dreams do come true and that true love is waiting out there for everyone. She can be very melodramatic at times but for the most part is very friendly and outgoing. She loves meeting new people and going on adventures. She is far too gullible and trusts others easily, which makes her a easy target for con-artists and other slimeballs.
As a water Pokemon she is very bubbly and emotional and is very attuned to other people's feelings. She can usually sense when one of her friends is feeling sad or angry, even if they try to act otherwise. She is very open about herself which comes from being raised in a family where all the other members don't express themselves properly -- she didn't want to end up like them, which is why she chose to evolve into a Vaporeon.
Backstory: Venus is the youngest of her Eon family which live on the rural outskirts of Saffron city. Her mother is a fiery-tempered Flareon and her father is an unemotional Umbreon. She has one older brother, a Jolteon, who is quite aggressive and loves brawling, and is fiercely protective of his little sister.
Venus spent her younger years in the Elite Pokemon Academy with her brother. She had plenty of friends and was quite popular but she felt empty inside, for her true passion was on the Big Screen. Venus dreamed of being a movie a star with throngs of fans and admirers who would line up for miles to see her perform.
But unfortunately there weren't very many big parts for a fairly common Pokemon. The most she could achieve was being a background extra. She managed to get a few small parts as "Random Vaporeon #22" and "Angry Vaporeon Clone #2" in a few famous Pokemon movies, and it only fueled her thirst for more screentime.
She met Articuno who had travelled to Saffron city around this time. The legendary bird had learned how to become a human and was attending a human school. Venus realized that if she could learn how to transform into a human as well then it could open the door to new acting opportunities. Articuno told her about her own plans of going to Diamond City to start a glass sculpure business, and described the big city and it's lucrative business opportunities. This inspired Venus, and when Articuno graduated and left the two vowed to meet each other again someday soon.
She continued her schooling but couldn't concentrate. Her daydreaming brought trouble to her reality when she ended up flunking all her classes. Her parents were furious and dismissed her dreams of becoming an actress as foolish. They reminded her that she was just a Pokemon, and she needed to start acting (no pun intended) more like one. But Venus couldn't take it anymore, and upon hearing that there was a Pokemon in Diamond City who was teaching others how to transform, she decided it was time to leave home and go to the 'big city' to chase her dreams.
What brings this person to Diamond City?: To meet up with Articuno, find the Pokemon called "Venn" who can help her transform, and begin her career in acting.
